The NGO Council of Alberta acknowledges and respects the diversity of our member organizations, which include both faith-based and non-faith-based entities. It is important to note that the NGO Council of Alberta does not interfere with or direct the daily operations of any member organization.
Our role is to serve as an information resource and networking liaison, providing a platform for collaboration, sharing of best practices, and mutual support among our diverse members. We are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment that values the unique missions and operational approaches of each organization within our council.
While we encourage collaboration and offer guidance, each member organization retains complete autonomy over its internal management and operational decisions. The NGO Council of Alberta’s purpose is to enhance the collective impact of NGOs in Alberta through connection and information sharing, not to govern the specific administrative or operational processes of individual members.
